Executive Directors, Physician Practice (2 positions) are with a division of the largest pharmaceutical services company in the country. We are looking for individuals (MBA preferred) who have a minimum of 7 to 10 years progressive leadership experience in the physician practice world, strong operations + some business development multi-site experience, solid understanding of reimbursement, contracting, ability to lead sr. level individuals in IT, finance, HR, etc., and interact with physicians, moving them in the direction to be successful in today's healthcare environment. We need individuals who can provide strategic leadership, who can see the forest beyond the trees and who can make the tough decisions.

One position is in Upstate NY, the other in the Denver, CO area. Chief Operations Officer in Ft. Lauderdale
A premier specialty physician group practice is seeking a Chief Operations Officer in Ft. Lauderdale. Thank you in advance for sharing with your healthcare network.

The Chief Operating Officer will develop and implement the strategic direction of the practice in conjunction with the physicians. The Chief Operations Officer will provide leadership and direction to approximately 65 FTE's. The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for the company's day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and top line growth, expense, cost and margin control, bottom line performance, cash management, regulatory compliance, and financial goal management operating within a complex financial and accounting systems. The Chief Operations Officer will be instrumental in negotiating managed care agreements and oversight of billing and collections.

Executive Director, Physician Practice Network
A Not-for-profit health system located in Southwestern Pennsylvania has retained our firm to assist them in finding an Executive Director for their Physician Practice Network. The hospital is a regional medical center offering all service lines including cardiovascular services, neurosciences, etc. They are the largest provider in their service area, are the market leader, and have a history of strong financial performance. CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Company Background:
NRAD Medical Associates (NRAD) has been practicing radiology on Long Island since 1927, making it the most experienced radiology practice in the New York metropolitan area. Since its inception, NRAD has been dedicated to the highest level of patient care in both diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology. It has introduced more state-of- the-art diagnostic and treatment procedures than any other practice and does so in a comfortable and convenient outpatient setting. With current revenues of $75M, NRAD is expanding both its geographic footprint and size to continue its growth and success, with anticipated growth to $150M in three years. It has recently embarked on a plan to build and become a multispecialty practice using a Vertical Integration (VI) model.

The practice is composed of 47 physicians: 24 radiologist/radiation oncologist shareholders and 23 employee physicians. The employee physicians group consists of 14 radiologists/radiation oncologists, 4 breast surgeons and 5 internists. The surgeons and internists are the first non-radiologists hired for the Vertical Integration model.

NRAD has three radiation oncology offices and 12 diagnostic offices located in seven separate physical sites. The nine VI physicians are in their own offices. NRAD is currently working to integrate its electronic health records with its billing system, ADS. It recently outsourced human resources functions to Insperity.
